Abbie calls Hawley for assistance due to Ichabod's illness. He's not thrilled. Nick secretly puts sleeping pills in Crane's soup so he can get some rest.

Before he passes out, Ichabod tells them that Tarrytown was built in a precise area between the human world and the spirit world, and clearly for a reason.

Crane feels that Moloch conjured up Mama Mills to prey on their resolve, while Henry preys on Katrina's guilt, cajoling her into carrying baby Moloch.

The demon's touch infects Katrina, whose skin blackens.

At Tarrytown, the Mills sisters and Hawley halt another suicide as Mama Mills' spirit appears and Abbie is transported to an abandoned section of the hospital.

The Mills' return for clues, finding a drawing of them as their mom's spirit reappears and tells them of a way to send this angel of death right on back to hell.

Lori Mills finds Nurse Lambert, while Jenny performs the incantation to defeat her ... however, Lori's spirit also mysteriously vanishes during the process.

Later, the sisters summon their mother once more. They learn that their mother fought to the end, while Moloch sent the evil nurse to finish her off.

Captain Irving, meanwhile, has managed to escape.

Katrina had been working on a spell to kill the demon child, but finds the crib empty and the child now appearing to be at least six or seven years old ...
